Milestone Celebration to be held February 5-11, 2024
Mr. Mac’s, the beloved fast-casual restaurant in Manchester, New Hampshire, is thrilled to announce the celebration of a significant milestone – over 1 Million Orders since opening its doors in the fall of 2010. Founded by siblings Valerie Anderson and Patrick Cain, Mr. Mac’s quickly became a local favorite with its unique concept of 21 signature gourmet mac and cheese options made and baked to order. Inspired by their grandma’s recipe, the comfort food concept gained popularity, earning Mr. Mac’s recognition in New Hampshire Magazine’s “Best Of,” as well as on the Phantom Gourmet TV show, and features on Food Network’s Man v. Food and Food Paradise stating, “Mr. Mac’s believes in the unifying power of comfort food”.
“When we opened, there were some that said a restaurant dedicated to mac & cheese wouldn’t last 6 months. But, after 13 years, our community proved the naysayers wrong,” shared Patrick Cain with a satisfying grin. “We will always have an unyielding sense of gratitude to those that have supported us over the years.” Due to its commitment to quality, Mr. Mac’s has not only become a culinary sensation in New Hampshire but has also received requests for its famous Mac & Cheese recipes from around the world. “While we are not able to ship internationally, we have shipped our Mac & Cheese to hundreds of people, some as far away as Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, and Miami,” said Valerie Anderson, “The daily requests we were receiving were just too many to ignore.”
Cain continues, “From day one, our company culture has been based on what we consider to be our core principles consisting of our commitment to: quality product, providing a memorable customer experience, engaged employees, and being good community stewards.” Being an integral part of the community has always been at the heart of Mr. Mac’s mission. The “Mac Gives Back” initiative, supporting area non-profits, has donated thousands of dollars each year to organizations such as the NH Breast Cancer Coalition, Salvation Army Kids Café, Boys & Girls Club, the Manchester Police Athletic League, local schools, and Little League sports teams.
