Beloved chicken brand unveils newest restaurant in the Hub City on Monday, Oct. 02
Saucy chicken chain Zaxby’s is opening its newest location in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at 2272 Nazareth Church Rd. The new Zaxby’s is owned and operated by ZaxBax Spartanburg, LLC, and will open for drive-thru only, Oct. 02. The opening comes amid the brand’s recent push into new flavor territory with the introduction of its Fried Chicken Philly. The new sandwich is an elevated twist on the original Philly cheesesteak, combining traditional Philly flavors taken to the next level with Zaxbys’ famous hand-breaded chicken.
“We’re excited to open a new Zaxby’s location in Spartanburg and bring more indescribably good chicken to the community,” said Travis Townsend, co-owner of ZaxBax Spartanburg, LLC. “We’re looking forward to being an active part of the community by partnering with local schools and colleges to give back and foster the future of Spartanburg.”
The farmhouse-style restaurant, spanning roughly 3,400 square feet, boasts an indoor dining room for up to 56 guests and a spacious back-of-house kitchen equipped with state-of-the-art appliances to allow for faster speed of service. Guests will also experience expedited drive-thru service with a double drive-thru layout with Zaxby’s new digital menu boards, as well as a drive-thru delivery door for faster pay and pickup.
For even faster service, customers may also order ahead online via zaxbys.com as well as through the new Zaxby’s app available for download on Google Play and the App Store. Ordering delivery is available directly through the Zaxby’s app, as well as through DoorDash and Grubhub.
Recently, Zaxby’s announced its latest limited-time offer – the Fried Chicken Philly. The sandwich features Zaxbys’ signature fried or grilled chicken, savory garlic aioli, and a combination of melted American cheese, grilled peppers and onions served on a toasted hoagie roll. Starting at $7.29, the sandwich is available at participating Zaxby’s locations while supplies last. Prices may vary by location.
