Satisfy Game-Day Cravings with Fresh Latin Dishes and Seafood Favorites
Sports fans and food lovers have four new reasons to gather at their local hangout this fall. Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is expanding its menu starting Monday, August 3, introducing a fresh lineup of scratch-made dishes packed with authentic Latin flavors and generous portions.
The new items rely on premium ingredients and produce prepared to order, building on the brand’s popular mix of traditional street tacos, fresh wings, sizzling fajitas, and smashed burgers.
“Every menu addition starts with what our guests are craving and how we can bring authentic Latin flavors to the table,” said Chef Alex Sadowsky, Vice President of Training, Culinary & Beverage at Ojos Locos Sports Cantina. “This menu introduces even more variety, from our premium Carne Asada Plate and customizable Burrito Bowl to seafood-forward additions like the Mexicali Shrimp Tacos and new Mariscos-Style Shrimp Boil. We’re continuing to build on the flavors our guests already love while giving them new reasons to come back.”
Four Fresh Dishes On the Lineup
Available across all locations, the latest culinary additions offer something for every palate:
-
Burrito Bowl: A fully customizable base of rice and beans topped with shredded cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, roasted corn, habanero onions, cilantro, lime, and Yucateco sauce. Guests can choose grilled chicken or upgrade to carne asada, barbacoa, or shrimp.
-
Carne Asada: An 8 oz. grilled sirloin steak served with sautéed peppers and onions, melted Monterrey and Chihuahua cheeses, queso fresco, avocado, habanero onions, salsa roja, rice, and beans. Guests can also add a blackened shrimp skewer for $2 more.
-
Mexicali Shrimp Tacos: Three blackened shrimp tacos layered with fresh cabbage, spicy mayo, avocado, roasted corn, pico de gallo, and cilantro.
-
Shrimp Boil: Expanding on popular raw bar items like Ceviche and Aguachile Verde, this shareable feast includes a full pound of shrimp, sausage, corn, whole red potatoes, grilled onions, and jalapeños tossed in a garlic-lime butter sauce infused with Mexican chiles, Cajun spices, and melted butter.
Built for Game-Day Action and Fantasy Drafts
The new lineup arrives right as football season heats up, giving fans a place to watch NFL preseason games, college matchups, UFC fights, boxing, basketball, and baseball on wall-to-wall screens.
Fantasy football commissioners can also take advantage of the Casa de Fantasy Draft promotion running through Wednesday, September 9. Groups of six or more who reserve a draft party score 20 free tacos (with a one-beverage-per-person purchase), $5 off 100-ounce beer balones, and an exclusive $50 gift card for the commissioner.
Founded in Dallas, Texas, back in 2010, the chain has grown to 35 locations across five states, pairing authentic food with ice-cold 29-degree cerveza served in frosty mugs or table-side balones.
