The Award-Winning casual-dining franchise Quaker Steak & Lube known for its Best Wings USA and more than 20 sauces, announced today it won the coveted Festival Favorite award, an honor voted on by fans, at the 2013 National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, N.Y. This marks the second year in a row that The Lube has been named Festival Favorite, and the third time overall. In addition, Quaker Steak & Lubewas also recognized for its Triple Atomic wing sauce, winning first place in the Traditional Extra-Hot sauce category.

The National Buffalo Wing Festival is a two-day event that takes place annually during Labor Day weekend at the Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, N.Y.; this year it took place on Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept.1. Each year at the National Buffalo Wing Festival, The Lube enters its sauces into three of the seven allotted categories. A panel of judges then decides which restaurants have the best sauce based on a blind taste test.
