Raising Cane’s Reaches Houston Milestone in June

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will open the doors to its 10th Houston-area restaurant on Thursday, June 14 on Ella Boulevard north of 610. Following closely behind, the chicken finger restaurant will open its 11th area location on Thursday, June 21 in Pasadena. Consistently recognized as an industry leader in customer service and growth, Louisiana-based Raising Cane’s has experienced a surge in popularity since opening its first Houston restaurant in June 2005.

“Opening the 10th Houston Raising Cane’s is definitely a milestone for us,” said Todd Graves, founder and CEO of Raising Cane’s. “Houstonians have really embraced Raising Cane’s and we look forward to being an active community partner in the areas surrounding our new Ella Boulevard and Pasadena restaurants.”

Grand opening ribbon cutting ceremonies for the new Ella Boulevard and Pasadena locations will take place at 9:30 a.m. on June 14 and June 21, respectively. Doors will open to the public at 10:30 a.m., and the first 100 customers will receive a commemorative T-shirt and meal voucher for the fan-favorite Box Combo, containing four fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, fries and a drink (good on following visit). The grand openings will also kick off each restaurant’s Give Back Giveaway tradition, where customers can register to win a $1,000 donation to his or her favorite local charity, as well as Free Cane’s for a Year. Give Back Giveaway entries will be open through June 20 at Ella Boulevard and June 27 at Pasadena.

On Friday, June 8, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Ella Boulevard Raising Cane’s crew will volunteer in a building painting project at the Lutheran North Community Center in an effort to revitalize its youth center. As part of its commitment to giving back to the community, Raising Cane’s makes it a priority to participate in a community service project before each new restaurant opening.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers’ 10th Houston-area restaurant is located at 3007 Ella Boulevard in Houston. The Pasadena Raising Cane’s is located at 5107 Fairmont Parkway.

With the opening of the Ella Boulevard and Pasadena locations, Raising Cane’s now has a total of 128 restaurants in 16 states with new restaurants under construction. Due in part to its aggressive expansion in Texas this year, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers was named one of the fastest growing restaurant companies in the U.S. according to a new industry trend analysis by Technomic.

In addition, Raising Cane’s was recently honored as one of the top quick-service restaurant chains in the country for customer satisfaction by a Sandelman & Associates’ Quick-Track study, for the fifth consecutive year. The restaurant placed second for best overall service among 150 restaurants studied and was the highest-rated restaurant company for temperature of food, accuracy in filling orders, and cleanliness of restaurants.

The company has ONE LOVE – quality chicken finger meals – and an expanding fan base of “Caniacs” devoted to the company’s signature fresh-never-frozen chicken fingers and popular secret sauce. With a consistent brand focus on its ONE LOVE, customer service and on supporting the communities in which it serves, Raising Cane’s has earned its place as a front-runner in the competitive quick service restaurant segment.
