Todd McGlamery opened his National Restaurant Properties (NRP) franchise in Nashville in October 2012 and it’s rapidly living up to the franchise’s tagline. “No One Sells More Restaurants.” In less than a year, McGlamery’s brokerage firm sold three restaurants (two additional sales are pending), closed on eight leases, and currently has more than 20 listings in the Nashville area.
His most recent sale, the Benchmark Restaurant on Second Avenue North, is the latest in a string of high profile restaurants the firm has sold in Nashville and the surrounding areas, including a popular BBQ restaurant and a number of bars and family restaurants.
McGlamery began his restaurant career shortly after his 2003 graduation from Coastal Carolina University. He opened and sold five establishments: two Rosie O’Grady locations (Beaufort and Charleston, SC), Jock’s Sports Grill and Twist the Bistro (Hilton Head Island, SC), and Oktoberfest, (Bluffton, SC). He also authored a how-to-book, Rapid-Fire Opening: Steps to Get Up and Running, for aspiring bar owners.
