High-Energy American Roll Concept Arrives in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
Dallas-Fort Worth is getting a brand-new dining experience this month. Rock N’ Roll Sushi is debuting its first location in the region on Monday, Aug. 10. Positioned inside the Shops at Mansfield Towne Square, the venue brings its signature mix of imaginative rolls, rock-and-roll entertainment, and lively atmosphere to local diners.
The restaurant is owned and operated by local business partners and friends Monica Ross and Anthony Krall. This opening represents the first step in the pair’s multi-unit development agreement, which includes plans to launch three distinct venues across North Texas.
“We’re excited to finally open our doors to the Mansfield community,” Ross said. “The support we’ve received leading up to launch has been incredible. Our goal has always been to create more than just a sushi restaurant. We’re building a place where great food, great music and genuine hospitality come together, and we can’t wait to welcome guests to Rock N’ Roll Sushi.”
Before opening to the general public, the team is hosting invitation-only VIP Preview Nights on Aug. 7 and 8. These events will welcome 170 guests to sample menu items while giving staff members a chance to refine service workflows. The business has hired around 35 local workers to support its long-term presence in the community.
Creative Menus and Weekly Dining Promotions
Starting out in Mobile, Alabama, the brand built its reputation by taking an American approach to sushi. Built around a “Dine Out Loud” motto, the concept pairs easygoing flavors and creative rolls with classic-rock-inspired energy.
“From the beginning, our focus has been on a restaurant experience that people want to come back to again and again,” Krall said. “Every member of our team has worked incredibly hard preparing for this moment, and we’re excited to introduce Mansfield to everything Rock N’ Roll Sushi has to offer.”

Grand Opening Details and Operating Hours
The doors open to guests starting Monday, Aug. 10. Operating hours run Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Further details about an upcoming Mansfield Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting will be shared as the date approaches.
