QSR chain expands presence in New Jersey market
Roy Rogers Restaurants announced today it has signed a development agreement with an area franchise group led by Dipen Desai. Desai, a seasoned restaurant operator of numerous franchised brands including Taco Bell and Dunkin’ Donuts, plans to develop 4 restaurants across Bergen and Essex Counties in northern New Jersey. The first Roy Rogers restaurant is projected to open in 2016.
“We are pleased to have Dipen Desai join the Roy Rogers family,” said Jim Plamondon, co-president of The Plamondon Companies that owns the Roy Rogers Restaurants chain. “With Dipen’s depth of QSR franchise and operational experience, we’re enthusiastic about our partnership with his organization as the Roys brand continues to grow in northern New Jersey.”
“I am very excited to be part of this major launch of Roy Rogers in the New Jersey market,” said Desai. “We’re looking forward to a new and powerful beginning with this company.”
The partnership further deepens Roys’ footprint in the New Jersey market as the Mid-Atlantic restaurant chain continues its expansion plan with the franchise development company, Franchise Dynamics, to bring forth candidates to the brand.
