Expanded program for military personnel and their families lasts all July
Just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July, Buffets, Inc. and its portfolio of restaurants, including Ryan’s, HomeTown Buffet, and Old Country Buffet, have launched a new military appreciation program. Throughout the month of July, the buffet restaurants are inviting active and retired military families to join them for a meal, where they may enjoy a special 15 percent discount on their meals and beverages. The discount is available to both active and retired military personnel their spouses and children (up to a party of four) with a valid military I.D., who dine at any of the 337 locations.
“We honor our service men and women, and know that their sacrifices are also the sacrifices of their families,” said Amy LaFrank, Director of Programs for Buffets, Inc. “Our independence and freedom are due in part to their efforts, so we want to express our thanks with this special appreciation.”
Ryan’s, HomeTown Buffet, and Old Country Buffet currently offer active military and their families a 15 percent discount – a program all the restaurants launched in July 2012.
“We’re a place for families, and military families have a special place in our hearts,” said LaFrank. “We’re proud to have the opportunity to salute them.”
The buffet restaurants are popular for their home-style meals served in a family-friendly atmosphere. The restaurants serve up juicy grilled steaks, made-to-order Mongolian stir fry, scratch-made sides, a fresh salad bar, and expansive dessert offerings. Their menus satisfy cravings and taste buds of all types.
Buffets, Inc., one of the nation’s largest steak-buffet restaurant companies, currently operates 344 restaurants in 35 states, comprised of 334 steak-buffet restaurants and 10 Tahoe Joe’s Famous Steakhouse restaurants.
