New restaurant marks 32nd TCBY location in Texas
TCBY (www.tcby.com), the leading frozen yogurt restaurant concept, continues to expand its footprint in Texas with a new location now open in McAllen — marking the 32nd store in Texas. The owner of the new location is Gerardo Carrillo, a first-time franchise owner with TCBY.
The new store, located at Stone Oak-Carrillo on 3701 Expressway 83, suite 200 in McAllen, is nearly 2,100 square feet and features TCBY’s new self-serve concept, which allows customers to make their own frozen yogurt treat by choosing from 10 available flavors and mixing in a variety of toppings.
“Texas continues to be one of our largest states for growth for the TCBY brand,” said Tim Casey, CEO of TCBY. “As the only TCBY restaurant in Hidalgo County, the McAllen location will be a positive addition to the community by providing healthier frozen treat options for patrons. In addition, this location will feature the self-serve concept, which has received great responses from customers in giving them the opportunity to create their own unique frozen treat.”
