Restaurant Industry Veterans Lead Development of More Than 60 Texas Locations
Fast-rising quick-service breakfast and lunch concept Twisted Egg Shack is accelerating its growth trajectory. The brand has inked an exclusive Area Development Agreement with 1836 Brands, led by restaurant industry veterans Joey Eguia and Collins Orr, to head up development throughout Texas.
Under the new partnership, 1836 Brands will oversee the rollout of more than 60 restaurants across the state, marking one of the largest expansion commitments in the company’s history.
Site selection is already moving fast, with initial restaurants slated for the League City and Cypress areas within the greater Houston market.
Eguia brings over 30 years of operational leadership to the venture. Having served as COO of Fajita Pete’s, held executive roles at Wings N More and BreWingz, and founded Bayou City Wings, he brings deep expertise in team building and franchise management. Alongside Orr, 1836 Brands pairs hands-on operational know-how with real estate and marketing strategy.
“We have been looking for something exciting and different in the breakfast and lunch category, Twisted Egg Shack checks off all of the boxes, with virtually no competition, there is huge runway for growth. With our connections, we are looking forward to making this the hands down category leader,” said Eguia.

They aren’t just experienced operators – they’re exceptional franchise partners who understand exactly what it takes to build successful restaurants.”
