In a season known for cold winter weather, Kansas City has been pleasantly surprised by comfortable, sunny days, and Urban Table of Prairie Village has been pleasantly surprising us as well. Inspired café-style cuisine for breakfast and lunch, and a seasonally rotating sit-down dinner menu are the staples for this unique American café. Each menu item is a pleasant surprise by its own right, while special events and changes bring delights to match.
The first announcement is that Urban Table’s Wine Dinner series will continue on Tuesday, January 24th with hosting from winemaker Bob Leja of Ferrari-Carano Vinyards. The evening menu has changed as well. Now you can find six seasonal entrées on the dinner menu, along with one or two “Chef’s Daily Creations.” Daily Creations (available for a limited time) complement the delectable dinner menu featuring the favorite Parmesan-Crusted Pork Chop and the seasonal Prosciutto & Fig Stuffed Chicken Breast.
Urban Table will also be participating in Kansas City Restaurant Week by providing a three-course dinner for just 30 dollars from 5-10 pm. The available options span the evening menu and provide guests with an opportunity to sample the many starters, entrées and desserts that Urban Table offers at a reduced price. With one of the better opportunities available during Restaurant Week, Urban Table should not be overlooked.
Urban Table, a modern American interpretation of the corner café gives neighbors an all day kind of place.
