Introduction of new beverage menu coincides with global celebration of the Irish-themed brand’s favorite holiday
It never takes much prodding to convince Bennigan’s to throw a party, so it should come as no surprise that the brand that’s synonymous with St. Paddy’s Day is using the midway point in the calendar to celebrate its favorite holiday.
On and around Wednesday, Sept. 17, Bennigan’s restaurants throughout the chain’s global system will throw a “Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day” party, with Irish-themed food and drink specials, live entertainment, green beer and more. Guests can start with a basket of Wishing Well Coins, Bennigan’s unique take on fried pickles, then tackle the all-new O.M.G. Burger – a hand-crafted, half-pound beef burger topped with melted Swiss and American cheeses, shaved corned beef, sauerkraut, fried pickles and strips of Applewood smoked bacon. Drizzled with GUINNESS Stout glaze and topped with a colossal onion ring, this masterful indulgence will bring out the Irish in everyone!
And you won’t want to miss five delicious new specialty drinks – like the rowdy Irish Beer Blaster, which allows guests to drop a decadent shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey and Baileys Irish Cream into a frosty pint of GUINNESS. The food and drink specials run through the end of September.
The Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day celebration coincides with the rollout of Bennigan’s new beverage menu, which guests will find creatively displayed in a photo-filled beverage book hanging on a tabletop Jameson bottle. The menu features 21 delicious, on-trend cocktails with craveable flavor profiles alongside the restaurant’s mainstay beer, wine and non-alcoholic selections. The Jameson bottle also gives guests a glimpse into Bennigan’s rich heritage and culture, and describes the unique values that have guided the brand for decades.
In addition, Bennigan’s is adding a little “flair” in the form of interactive presentations, such as its Mason Jar cocktails, which are shaken tableside, and the Irish Coffee, with real hand-whipped cream lightly floated on top. Several unique garnishes spice up the social experience, including the Pot O’ Gold, in which guests pour in their own tequila to create the perfect Emerald Isle Margarita.
