This new restaurant, located at 1723 Ute Blvd., near Highway 224 in Park City, will feature Del Taco’s new design including a contemporary color palette, interesting architectural elements, a revamped interior and a salsa bar. The salsa bar offers guests new flavors with two different types of fresh salsa as well as Del Taco’s signature sauces — Del Inferno, Del Scorcho and Mild sauce. This location will be open 24 hours, and features an indoor playground and drive thru with an extended covered patio to protect guests from inclement weather.
On November 24th from noon – 4 PM, Santa and an elf will be visiting the Park City Del Taco. On December 1st from noon – 3 PM, SpongeBob Squarepants will be at the restaurant.
This new location marks the 26th location for franchisees and Park City residents Jane and Paul Hitzelberger.
“We’re honored and thrilled to open our 26th location in Park City,” said Paul Hitzelberger, owner and CEO of Utah Del, Del Taco’s franchise partner. “The people of Utah have embraced Del Taco’s great food and value offerings, and we feel like part of the family here in Utah.”
Utah Del employs more than 700 people at its 26 Del Taco locations, and has been an active member of the communities where the restaurants operate. Utah Del has been recognized by the National Restaurant Association with numerous Restaurant Neighbor Awards for its support of the National Guard Foundation, the National Ability Center and other charities.
With the opening of this Park City location, Del Taco locations in Utah will be kicking off an annual fundraiser for the National Ability Center which works with disabled people and partners with the Wounded Warrior Project to provide services to veterans. Del Taco hopes to raise $30,000 for the National Ability Center.
