First Watch to Donate All Proceeds from Fountain City Pre-Opening Event to CharityFirst Watch, the popular Knoxville breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant, today announced that in conjunction with its June 26 restaurant opening, Knoxville-based franchise group Capstone Concepts, LLC will donate all money raised from a pre-opening event to charity. Proceeds from the event at the company’s new Fountain City restaurant will be donated to the Change Center of Knoxville.

The Change Center is a safe, strategically located, center-city partnership facility that provides relational, recreational, leadership development and job initiatives for teens and young adults. The event will be held at the new First Watch at 5144 N. Broadway St. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both June 24 and 25, and is open to the public. A $10 donation is suggested.

“We always look for meaningful ways to get involved in the communities where First Watch exists, and we are so excited about the opportunity to support such an incredible cause in Knoxville as part of our new restaurant opening,” said James Geib, chief operating officer for Capstone Concepts, LLC. “Our new team in Fountain City is enthusiastic and ready to serve this great community in more ways than one. We support that and look forward to introducing First Watch’s innovative, award-winning menu items.”

First Watch will open for business in Fountain City on Monday, June 26, at 7 a.m. The 3,300-square-foot restaurant will employ about 25 people.
