Hoffman Group Holdings, LLC acquires popular Cape restaurant

International hospitality company Hoffman Group Holdings, LLC, known for its award winning 5-star service and quality in the Caribbean, has set a new course for Cape Harbour’s The Joint as its newest business venture. Hoffman Group Holdings, LLC, owned by husband and wife team Timothy and Meredith Hoffman, recently purchased The Joint waterfront restaurant after falling in love with the local area and eatery.

Hoffman Group Holdings, LLC intends to build onto The Joint’s success and elevate the Cape Coral eatery to a world-class dining destination while capitalizing on its existing strengths, which include its staff and head chef. The Joint is located within a luxury yachting community along Florida’s pristine southern Gulf Coast in Cape Coral, Florida at 5785 Cape Harbour Drive.

“After several visits to Southwest Florida and The Joint, we knew this was the destination we wanted to open our next business and call home,” said Timothy Hoffman.

Timothy and Meredith Hoffman determined the location leaves nothing to be desired, as diners arrive by boat or car to the multi-use yachting community, situated at the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River and the Gulf of Mexico. Additionally, The Marina at Cape Harbour offers the only waterfront shopping destination in Southwest Florida with award-winning art galleries, a luxury spa and salon and extraordinary boutiques. The Hoffmans plan to apply an “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” approach.

Timothy Hoffman said, “The Joint has been phenomenally successful, and that’s why it appealed to us. There’s nothing we like more than to identify ways to make a good thing even better, and we see a lot of potential for this wonderful restaurant to become more innovative and gain an even broader appeal. The time is right for Cape Coral to become a world-class dining and hospitality destination.”

With the acquisition complete, the Hoffmans, head chef and staff at The Joint are currently testing new menu items as specials, so now is a great time to stop in to see some familiar faces, say hello to the new owners and try something new. Mark your calendars, though: the week of September 14 through 23, The Joint will close temporarily to undergo renovations and reopen as Fathoms Restaurant & Bar. Expect the same great location and staff, but with a new look, name and even more delightful experience. For more information, please visit or call 239-542.0123

Timothy and Meredith Hoffman possess extensive project management and hospitality expertise in the Caribbean, having overseen the on-time, on-budget rebuilding of The Green Turtle Club on Abaco after a category 5 hurricane and the renovation and expansion of Montpelier Plantation & Beach on Nevis, which was accepted as a member of the prestigious Relais Chateaux group of luxury hotels. The Hoffmans recently relocated back to the U.S. with their three children and are working to enhance hospitality and dining on the Southwest Coast of Florida, whose charms resembles those of the Bahamas. HGH LLC counts among its current holdings Fathoms (formerly The Joint), the Run Agrounds coffee shop and Longboards Cabana Bar, all located at beautiful Cape Harbour in Cape Coral, Florida.
