JINYA Ramen Bar, a 4,000-square-foot, full-service, sit-down restaurant, is slated to open at 1336 14th Street NW in Washington D.C.’s Logan Circle early this summer.

JINYA Ramen Bar, a key player in sparking the Ramen Revolution in Los Angeles, currently has multiple locations across the United States, as well as throughout Canada. This will be the restaurant’s second location in the D.C. Metro area. JINYA Ramen Bar’s flagship east coast store opened in Fairfax’s Mosaic District in June 2016.

“We are so excited to bring JINYA to the nation’s capital,” remarked JINYA Ramen Bar’s Sam Shoja. “After seeing how welcoming the community was when JINYA opened in the Mosaic District, we knew we wanted to go bigger and expand to D.C. where diners have adventurous and sophisticated worldly palates.”

Inspired by JINYA Ramen Bar’s founder Tomonori Takahashi’s experiences with both Western and Eastern cultures, JINYA Ramen Bar specializes in authentic Tonkotsu ramen (heavily pork-influenced broth), boasting bold flavors and a wide variety of customizable options for the American palate. The intricate food preparation process includes simmering the broth for over 18 hours, which delivers a robust, flavorful experience.
