Popular ‘Dog of the Week’ Collaborations with Local Brew Masters, Craft Beer Retailers and Craft Beer Promoters Returns Bigger Than Ever in Its Third Year

JJ's Red Hots Expands 'Brew Dogs' for 2015Charlotte’s coolest business collaboration is back for its third year, is bigger than ever and the timing couldn’t be any better.

Just in time for NC Beer Month in April, JJ’s Red Hots, the award-winning Charlotte-based upscale Hot Dog brand, is aligning with local brew masters, bottle shops and craft beer promoters to present Brew Dogs 2015. Each Charlotte-based business has worked with JJ’s to create its own signature Hot Dog, topped, crafted and created with something special to the respective businesses and paired with the perfect craft beer.

Each creation will be featured as JJ’s popular “Dog of the Week” program and according to JJ’s founder Jonathan Luther it’s all about working together and supporting local businesses while making great Hot Dogs.

“We are Charlotte based and Charlotte proud and some of the best craft beer businesses are based right here,” said Luther. “We’ve had a lot of fun with Brew Dogs and have created some Hot Dog masterpieces along the way. We have a great line up for 2015 and can’t wait to get started because nothing beats a great dog and a great craft beer.”

JJ’s Brew Dogs 2015 program, which begins today and runs through May 31, includes the following:

JJ's Red Hots Expands 'Brew Dogs' for 2015“Brew Dogs just keeps getting better,” said Brandy Newton, director of marketing and brand development for JJ’s. “What began as a humble plan two years ago has turned into a full-on cultural event that calls out some very deserving businesses and we love working with them all.”

JJ’s, which swept all of Charlotte’s Best awards in 2014, was also the smallest and only Hot Dog/Sausage concept to make Fast Casual’s most recent Top 100 Movers & Shakers list.

About JJ’s Red Hots

JJ’s Red Hots is the premier purveyor of “hand-crafted” char-grilled hot dogs and sausages in the Charlotte metropolitan area and the campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. The restaurant concept is built on solid, hardworking values and is modeled after venerable establishments like Ted’s in Buffalo, NY, Gene and Jude’s in Chicago, and many others. Still, JJ’s is a true American original featuring house-made, scratch prepared sides and toppings served alongside time tested, revered American brands like Tabasco, Weber’s Mustard, Martin’s Rolls, Coca-Cola and Mt. Olive Pickles. Perhaps most proudly, JJ’s Red Hots serves smokehouse hot dogs from Sahlen’s Meat Packing Company in Buffalo, NY. Sahlen’s is a 143 year-old company that remains family owned and operated, and makes, in our opinion, the best hot dogs in the world.
