Leading Modern Juice Bar Concept is No. 21 in Entire Food & Beverage Category
With an outstanding, three-year growth rate of 1,146 percent, Nékter Juice Bar has achieved the No. 334 ranking on Inc. magazine’s 35th annual Inc. 5000 list, and the No. 21 ranking in the entire Food & Beverage category. Nékter’s first appearance on the list was in 2015, when it ranked at No. 345.
According to Inc. magazine, the Inc. 5000 list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— its independent small businesses. Among all companies on the list, the average three-year growth rate achieved was 433%, putting Nékter well ahead in average sales growth.
Nékter, well-known for its delicious, nutrient-dense array of affordable, freshly made and cold-pressed juices, smoothies and acai bowls, has 58 restaurants in five Western states, and plans to grow to at least 300 by 2020. During the past year, Nékter achieved several milestones, including signing agreements in Q2 to add 41 new corporate and franchise locations, putting it on par to exceed its growth goals. The company also recently won the “Hot Concept” award from Nation’s Restaurant News, a leading news source in the restaurant industry.
“Without a doubt, we continue to realize our vision to become the “People’s Juice” by offering our guests the freshest, most nutritious juices, smoothies and acai bowls at an affordable price in a welcoming and inspiring environment,” said Steve Schulze, CEO and co-founder, Nékter Juice Bar. “When my wife, Alexis, and I opened our first Nékter in 2010, we wanted to offer a menu that was nutritious and real without the added sugars, fillers and preservatives that the legacy juice and smoothie brands serve. Together, with a team of highly talented and passionate individuals in our corporate office and at each of our restaurants, we look forward to bringing “The Nékter Life” to more and more communities across the country and beyond.”
