Growing Concepts
Concepts that have grown by at least 5% (if less than 50 units).

SUNSET GRILL RESTAURANTS based in Mississauga, ON has increased by 6 units, from 27 to 33 (22% growth).  These are family/casual restaurants open for breakfast and lunch.  Per person check average is around $4-$10.  Beer is served.  Locations are more than 50% franchised and are in ON.

Portland, OR-based THE DUSSIN GROUP (founded 1969) has increased by 2 units for the Old Spaghetti Factory concept, from 40 to 42 (5% concept growth).  The company also operates Dussini Loft Bar (1).  Overall company increase was from 41 to 43 (5% growth).  These are family/casual Italian restaurants, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $8-$20, with full bar service.  The restaurants have seating for about 250 and offer banquet services.  Trading areas are AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, IN, KY, MN, MO, OH, OR, TN, UT, and WA.

Austin, TX-based THUNDERCLOUD SUBS (founded 1975) has increased by 1 unit, from 28 to 29 (4% growth).  This is a quick serve sandwich concept, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person price range is $4-$10.  Units seat about 50 and offer catering and online ordering services.  All locations are in TX.
