Toronto-Based “Better Chicken” Concept Introduces Revolutionary Rotisserie Fried Chicken In Time For New Location Opening
The Chickery, the Toronto-based ‘better chicken’ concept, known for featuring ‘real tasty’ chicken & sides, just opened its first location in Guelph, Ontario. The restaurant is located at 292 Stone Road W in the vibrant neighborhood near Guelph’s Premier Mall and the University of Guelph.
In addition to the newest location, The Chickery currently has three locations open throughout Toronto, ON and one U.S. location in Washington, D.C. In response to the popularity and demand for new and inventive chicken offerings, The Chickery has just rolled out a new menu item which combines its fried chicken and its signature rotisserie chicken to create Rotisserie Fried Chicken (RFC), a delicious combination of golden crunch on the outside and a tender, juicy inside.
Rotisserie Fried Chicken, which originated as an after-hours staff favorite, where team members would take fully brined, seasoned, and cooked rotisserie chickens, dredge them in the restaurant’s signature batter, and flash fry them, has now been added to the menu board at all Chickery locations after its runaway success as a “secret” menu item and weeks of refinement in the “test kitchen.”
The Chickery has also added four new dipping sauces to the menu: Garlic Aioli, Chickery Hot, Honey Mustard, and Thai Chili, and has plans to introduce additional healthy and indulgent new menu items in the near future.
