Biscuit Belly Is Bringing Six New Restaurants to the Southeast

Biscuit Belly Is Bringing Six New Restaurants to the SoutheastIf you live in the Southeast, your brunch game is about to hit a whole new level. Biscuit Belly, the fast-growing franchise famous for its scratch-made biscuits and Southern hospitality, is seeing some major momentum. The brand just announced development for six new restaurants across the region, nearly doubling its current footprint. That means more comfort food is coming to Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia!

The biggest slice of the pie is going to the Sunshine State, where multi-brand franchise partners Clint Dollar and Dave Gardner signed a three-unit agreement for the Florida Panhandle, specifically Pensacola and Panama City Beach. These guys are veterans of the franchise world, owning a ton of other concepts, but they were specifically drawn to Biscuit Belly’s single-shift breakfast model. Apparently, closing up shop in the early afternoon offers a much-needed work-life balance – and who can blame them? Look for their first flaky biscuit to hit the table in 2026, with the remaining two opening by 2027.

But the expansion isn’t just about selling deals; it’s about belief in the brand. In a major sign of confidence, Biscuit Belly’s own founders and core leadership are personally putting their own money into the growth. They’re investing alongside partners to open three joint-venture locations in Wake Forest and Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Peachtree City, Georgia. Co-founder and CEO Chad Coulter says they’re taking a “slower, more deliberate approach” and growing the right way – a sure sign that the focus is on long-term sustainability and delivering that delicious, welcoming experience.

Why the Southeast focus? Well, Florida has been a target since the beginning thanks to its year-round tourism. As Coulter points out, “you never know who might stop in, love the experience and want to bring it to their hometown,” making it an incredible branding opportunity. And really, who wouldn’t want to bring scratch-made biscuits and gravy back home after a beach trip?
