Geavaras brings more than 20 years of experience in restaurant operations and marketing to the Black Angus leadership team. Liz will spearhead Black Angus’ culinary direction on both food and beverage, along with marketing.  She will oversee all of the company’s marketing activities, including research strategy for customer campaigns, diversifying the advertising mix, and expanding the digital, public relations and social media footprints.

“Liz joins our team during an exciting time for Black Angus and she will play a vital role in the growth of this iconic American steakhouse,” said Chris Ames, chief executive officer, Black Angus Steakhouse. “Liz brings a strong background in consumer insights and trends, industry knowledge, and the leadership experience needed to drive a more integrated omni-channel marketing approach that builds loyalty for the Black Angus brand and positions the company for continued growth.”

Geavaras joined Black Angus Steakhouse from Grill Concepts, Inc., where she was Vice President of Marketing. During these past posts, Geavaras received numerous marketing program and menu awards.

“Black Angus is a longtime favorite dining destination for many Americans,” said Liz Geavaras, chief marketing officer, Black Angus Steakhouse. “I’m thrilled to come on board, further build the brand and introduce more consumers to our high quality steakhouse experience.”
