Cortes Ventures Inc., the independently owned and operated entity behind multiple successful Red Bicycle Coffee locations, proudly announces the opening of its fifth location at Vintage Pleasant Grove. Led by husband-and-wife duo Luis and Cyndi Cortes, Cortes Ventures Inc. continues to expand its footprint in Middle Tennessee, further solidifying its reputation for delivering exceptional coffee experiences and fostering vibrant community spaces.
As residents of Mt. Juliet themselves, Luis and Cyndi Cortes understand and share the sentiment of the community regarding the city’s unprecedented growth. While the rapid expansion brings both excitement and challenges, they hope that the new Red Bicycle Coffee location will serve as a positive addition—a welcoming space where residents can gather, connect, and enjoy a sense of community amidst the changes.
Cortes Ventures Inc. is the independent operator of Red Bicycle Coffee in Woodbine, Mt. Juliet, Nolensville, and the Tanger Outlets location, which was acquired in July 2024. Their expertise in cultivating warm, inviting, and community-focused coffee shops has made each of their locations a neighborhood staple. The newest location at Vintage Pleasant Grove is part of an $82 million upscale mixed-use development spearheaded by TDK Companies and Imagine1 Company.
Vintage Pleasant Grove, located just north of Interstate 40 between the Mt. Juliet Road exit and the upcoming Central Pike exit, is the third joint venture between TDK Companies and Imagine1 Company. Their commitment to creating high-quality, pedestrian-friendly mixed-use communities has already proven successful with Vintage Station North and Vintage Edge.
“Cortes Ventures Inc. has been instrumental in expanding the Red Bicycle Coffee brand while maintaining a strong sense of community at each of our locations,” said Luis and Cyndi Cortes. “Our goal has always been to provide a welcoming and cozy atmosphere where our customers can relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or a bite to eat. As Mt. Juliet residents, we understand the rapid growth our city is experiencing, and we want Red Bicycle to be a place where people can come together, find comfort, and continue to build community.”
Under the leadership of Cortes Ventures Inc., Red Bicycle Coffee has flourished in Nolensville, Mt. Juliet, Woodbine, and Tanger Outlets, creating unique gathering spaces for their respective communities. The Nolensville location, which opened in early summer 2023, quickly became a favorite in the Nashville, Brentwood, Franklin, and Nolensville areas, while the recent addition of the Tanger Outlets location further expanded their reach.
Cortes Ventures Inc. is committed to providing high-quality coffee and food while prioritizing sustainability. Their menu features espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, cold brews, and a variety of breakfast and lunch offerings, all made with carefully selected ingredients to ensure the highest quality and flavor. Additionally, they utilize reusable coffee cups and biodegradable straws to minimize their environmental impact.
The new Red Bicycle Coffee location at Vintage Pleasant Grove is expected to become a central hub within this dynamic, walkable community. Given the overwhelming success of Red Bicycle Coffee at Vintage Station North, the newest location will offer residents and visitors a welcoming space to connect, work, and enjoy premium coffee.
“We have been fortunate to expand our presence in the Nashville area, and working with TDK and Imagine1 has been an incredible experience. This partnership allows Cortes Ventures Inc. to bring our passion for coffee and community to even more people,” said Luis and Cyndi Cortes.
Cortes Ventures Inc. is also looking ahead to future projects, including a new Latin American concept set to launch in 2027, further showcasing its dedication to innovation and excellence in the specialty coffee industry.
As pre-leasing for Vintage Pleasant Grove begins in the summer of 2026, excitement continues to build for this highly anticipated addition to Mt. Juliet’s thriving landscape.
