On Thursday, July 25, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will open its fifth Virginia location in Fairfax. The celebration will last for three days spanning from Thursday through Saturday, July 27, and customers will have a chance to win a $500 gift card to Dickey’s.
“I’m excited to be bringing Dickey’s authentic pit-smoked barbecue to the area,” said franchise owner Andrew Nguyen. “People are going to swarm us when we open because it’s so good!”

Thursday, July 25: The first 50 customers will receive a Dickey’s gift card fully loaded with up to $50. The next 100 customers that walk through the door will receive a voucher for a free meal plate with the purchase of a drink.
Friday, July 26: The party continues with free Dickey’s Barbecue giveaways. The first 100 customers will receive a free Big Yellow Cup of Miss Ollie’s Tea and Dickey’s merchandise.
Saturday, July 27: Join 98.7 WMZQ for $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Dickey’s will hold a drawing for free barbecue for an entire year. Three winners will be chosen and one lucky guest will win a $500 gift card to Dickey’s.
