The location, nestled at 6340 Clemmons Point Dr., is now proudly owned and operated by husband-and-wife duo Gregory and Dafni Ballas, a pair who have hospitality literally running through their veins.
A Lifetime in the Kitchen
For Gregory, running the ECW+G franchise is a family affair – he’s the son of CEO Sam Ballas and has been involved in the brand’s development side for years. Dafni, meanwhile, grew up working in her family’s restaurant empire, the Michael Family Restaurant Group, and today serves as CEO overseeing multiple North Carolina concepts.
Together, this power couple brings a lifetime of restaurant DNA and a shared passion for creating genuine community hubs.
“Dafni and I both grew up in restaurants – it’s truly in our DNA,” said Gregory Ballas. “We love the fast-paced environment, but more than that, we love the people who make it all happen.”
The couple’s goal is to make the Clemmons spot a place where both the team and the guests feel right at home. The Clemmons restaurant isn’t just getting new leadership; it’s getting a renewed commitment to the local community – a place both Gregory and Dafni are proud to call home, having grown up in the Clemmons/Winston-Salem area.
To celebrate this new chapter and give back, the ECW+G of Clemmons is hosting a special Community Day on Tuesday, November 18th. The Ballases will be donating a generous 10% of sales from the entire day to the local Ronald McDonald House to support families in need.
Of course, the menu is still packed with everything you crave: over 50 unique wing flavors, signature burgers, flatbreads, skillets, and a great selection of craft beer. It’s the perfect relaxed, comfortable setting for a family outing or to catch the next big game.
