Homemade Breakfast Biscuit Sandwich and locally roasted coffee served to community Thursday
Fat Biscuit – the popular restaurant known for its soul nurturing, locally sourced cuisine – is treating its Lynnfield neighbors to free breakfast this Thursday, March 30.
Everyone is invited to come by Lynnfield’s first Fat Biscuit – located at 335 Market Street in the MarketStreet complex – between 7 and 9 a.m. on Thursday to enjoy a FREE homemade Breakfast Biscuit Sandwich and locally roasted coffee.
“We opened a couple of months ago, and we are so grateful for the warm welcome we’ve already received from the Lynnfield community,” said Chef Marc Phillips. “We want to say thank you to all our current guests and to invite those who haven’t yet experienced our made-from-scratch fare to come see what Fat Biscuit is all about – with breakfast on us!”
Thursday morning’s guests can choose a free Meat Egg and Cheese Biscuit (farm egg, Vermont cheddar, choice of smoked bacon, country ham or house-made pork sausage) or the Fried Chicken Biscuit (24-hour buttermilk brined fried chicken, pickle chips, pimento cheese).
The distinctive menu at Fat Biscuit features “true food” – with high-quality ingredients that are impeccably sourced, carefully handled, skillfully prepared and simply presented. And it’s all showcased in an open kitchen, where nothing is hidden.
Fat Biscuit is open morning, noon and night. Breakfast is served all day as well as lunch and supper, with daily chef specials. Each of the sandwiches are served on its namesake biscuit (or substitute a skinny biscuit or scratch-made English muffin) and served with a homemade side.
Some of Fat Biscuit’s signature items include:
- NOLA Shrimp & Grits – fresh Gulf Coast shrimp, New Orleans beer sauce, cheddar grits and bacon
- Fried Chicken Picnic Salad – spring mix, crispy fried chicken, deviled egg, tomato, avocado, cheddar, smoked bacon and buttermilk herb dressing
- Slow Roasted Pork Chop – center cut pork chop, maple honey glaze, onion strings and sweet potato casserole
- Fat Burger – hand-formed burger, fresh-baked English muffin, house-made pimento cheese, caramelized onion and pickles
The Lynnfield restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. The first Fat Biscuit opened in North Conway, NH, in August 2016.
