Nation’s leading fast-casual pizza chain celebrates grand opening Monday
Beginning Monday, the wait for your own perfect pizza in Frisco will be reduced to just five minutes.
Pie Five Pizza, which Forbes magazine called one of “10 hot new chains from established brands,” will bring its revolutionary fast-casual concept to 5110 Main Street, in the shadow of FC Dallas Stadium, on Monday, August 5th, at 11:00 AM. It will mark the Dallas-based chain’s 11th location in the DFW Metroplex.
At Pie Five, guests can choose from more than a million combinations of handcrafted pizzas and a variety of specialty pie choices prepared in less than five minutes on one of four crusts. The rapidly expanding chain is capitalizing on growing consumer demand for fresh dining options and artisan pizzas in stylish environments without the wait.
Keith Dahl, general manager of the third company-owned location to open this year, is excited to finally open the doors of his new restaurant.
“I’ve heard from so many people that they’ve been to another Pie Five in the area and they can’t wait till we open close to their home in Frisco,” said Dahl. “I’m also looking forward to introducing Pie Five to a new group of folks that will soon find out how easy it is to get their own perfect pizza with whatever toppings they want all for one great price.”
Prior to Monday’s official opening, the new Frisco restaurant will host private events to collect donations that will be used to purchase soccer balls for the FC Dallas Foundation’s Gear Up Project. Pie Five CEO Randy Gier and his leadership team will present a check to the Foundation during the grand opening ceremony at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 5th. In addition, the first 25 guests in line prior to 11:00 AM will receive a $50 Pie Five gift card.
In addition to the accolades from Forbes, Pie Five has been named a 2013 Top 50 Restaurant Brand of the Year and a 2012 Hot Concepts winner by Nation’s Restaurant News.
With the Frisco opening, Pie Five will have 11 locations in Texas and one each in North Carolina and Utah. Total announced franchise restaurants under contract currently number 96 in Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia.
