Other Ground Round restaurants located in Wisconsin include Neenah, Oshkosh and Tomah. The Onalaska restaurant will open in January and be owned by Tyson and Julia Koput of T and J Hospitality, who also own the Ground Round Grill & Bar in Tomah. Located in the Crossroads Center, the restaurant will feature Ground Round’s newest design elements. “Our success in Tomah has led to our second Ground Round restaurant in Onalaska, a market we’ve been looking at for a long time and we’re excited to bring Ground Round here as well,” states Tyson Koput.

The Brookfield restaurant will open later in the spring of 2015 and will bring a return of the Ground Round brand to the Milwaukee area. The Ground Round Grill & Bar in Brookfield will be owned and led by Franchisee Azeem Virani of Virani Enterprises, LLC, and will be located at the Midway Hotel & Suites Brookfield – West Milwaukee, and replacing the restaurant currently operating there as Maxwell’s. Renovations will begin in January and Maxwell’s restaurant will remain open until the Ground Round is ready to open later in the spring of 2015. “We’re pleased to be a part of this development to bring Ground Round back to Milwaukee and offer a completely updated facility and Ground Round experience to our hotel guests and the Brookfield community,” offers Scot Muehlmeier, owner of Midway Hotel & Suites, and the restaurant’s landlord.
