Home Plate: Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Slides into Kingsport With New Location

After seasons of preparation, Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is claiming home court advantage in Kingsport on January, 23, 2012. The 212-unit franchise of family sports pubs & restaurants best known for great food and the ties it builds with its communities, will serve as Kingsport’s unrivaled setting where game time meets family time.

“We’re the place where families, local sports groups and friends can come together and enjoy great food in a dynamic environment,” said local owners, Tim and Lorie Way. “There’s a strong sense of excitement that’s built into each Beef ‘O’ Brady’s, and the energy at our new restaurant will be unmatched.”

The Kingsport Beef `O’ Brady’s, located at 300 Clinchfield Street in the new Food City shopping center, will feature large screen TVs, complemented by smaller screens for viewing from anywhere in the restaurant. It will also have interactive video games for children and a menu offering Buffalo wings, hand-breaded chicken tenders, salads, a variety of sandwiches and burgers and mix-and-match desserts.

In addition to the food and atmosphere, people also take a quick liking to Beef ‘O’ Brady’s because of the franchise’s dedication to community outreach.  Since the company’s inception, each Beef ‘O’ Brady’s has been committed to strengthening local ties through philanthropic partnerships and volunteerism.

“We plan to become an integral part of the Kingsport community,” said Tim. “Already, we are creating ties with the community through sponsorships of local sporting organizations and we are eager to expand our involvement. Every Beef’s tells a story about their community, and we are no different.”

The new restaurant was built with Beef ‘O’ Brady’s forward-looking initiatives in mind, which include a re-engineered menu that offers their famous wings, St. Louis-Style ribs with Sweet Baby Ray’s barbeque sauce, grilled shrimp available as a main dish or as a salad, a build your own Angus burgers option, affordable mix-and-match dessert combinations and much more!

Ironically, despite what its name implies, Beef `O’ Brady’s is best known for its Buffalo chicken wings. Originally, the chain’s menu featured a variety of items that featured beef and a variety of sandwiches. Later, founder Jim Mellody added his own recipe for Buffalo chicken wings, making the restaurant an even “hotter” place to eat.
