Ms. Elvira Montes, an incredible 82-year-old grandmother of three, was the oldest finisher at the 2015 FloTrack Beer Mile in Austin, Texas! After learning of her post-race celebrations at Hooters over wings and scotch, Hooters’ management team couldn’t pass up the chance to honor Elvira’s living legacy.
Earlier this year the iconic wing joint threw her a surprise birthday party at her local Hooters of El Paso where she was surrounded by family, friends, supporters from the community, and hometown Hooters Girls. She was even gifted free Hooters wings for a year along with two bottles of Chivas Regal scotch – her favorite.
