Event Will Benefit the Boys & Girls Club
Johnny Rockets has a whole new look at the Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack. The global restaurant chain is celebrating with a grand reopening event on Saturday, January 14 from 11 am to 1 pm and will welcome guests to a brand new experience and its world famous burgers and shakes. The newly remodeled restaurant celebrates a new era for Johnny Rockets, and at the same time leverages the brand’s 30-year history serving its guests. In addition to its burgers and shakes, Johnny Rockets has been known for its 50s diner look and servers in soda fountain uniforms. Fast forward to today and the new design is what the brand refers to as Johnny Rockets Diner 2.0
Johnny Rockets’ logo has a dramatically different look and the restaurant team uniforms are also new. Servers and managers are now wearing black or dark denim jeans with white oxford shirts for servers and dark shirts for managers. Waist aprons worn by servers are denim striped with front pockets and full bib aprons are worn by cooks.
The new design includes lighting with a mix of contemporary and industrial glass globe pendants with caged pendants and an accent of red color. The furniture is upholstered seating and tables and chairs with warm grey tones, wood detailing and a splash of red. The open kitchen has white wall tiles and stainless steel wall panels.
Sayings on the white brick veneer walls include – To make by hand is to create perfection, Stay Original! and Laughter is the brightest where food is the best – Stay Original! In addition, there is an oversized graphic of a chef putting the finishing touch on a Johnny Rockets burger.
“The new restaurant design is a modern evolution of the style, experience and the food that have been associated with Johnny Rockets from the day the first restaurant opened in California in 1986,” said James Walker, President of Operations and Development for Johnny Rockets. “Our fresh, never frozen, 100% beef burgers, hand-spun shakes and much more are made-to-order at Johnny Rockets. And our new state-of-the-art kitchen technology makes it possible for our team to prepare and serve guests at a much faster pace without sacrificing the premium quality of our food. Our guests at the Palisades Center Mall can enjoy a great meal and still have plenty of time for shopping.”
