Walk-On’s, sister concepts offering huge gift card savings for 3rd year

Building off the success of previous years’ offerings, Baton Rouge-based Last In Concepts is rolling out extraordinary gift card deals for Black Friday and Cyber Monday shoppers at all four of its popular restaurant concepts – including Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar, named “Best Sports Bar in North America” by ESPN.

On Black Friday, November 29th, early-bird shoppers get the best deal with 50 percent off all gift cards purchased between Midnight and 11 a.m. From 11 a.m. till closing, shoppers receive 25 percent off all gift card purchases.

The offers are valid in-store only at any Walk-On’s, Happy’s Irish Pub, Schlittz & Giggles and Roux House location.  The gift cards may be used at all 10 Last In Concepts restaurants in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans, and do not have an expiration date.

Those preferring to do their shopping online will appreciate the company’s Cyber Monday deal as well.

For every $50 gift card purchase made online on Monday, December 2nd, a free $20 holiday bonus card will be thrown in.  Again, the gift cards and bonus cards may be used at any of the company’s 10 locations.  All holiday bonus cards must be redeemed during January 2014.  The Cyber Monday deals will be available all day December 2nd only at www.lastinconcepts.com, and on each of the individual restaurants’ web sites.

“Our customers have told us they love giving out our gift cards as Christmas presents and as customer and employee incentives,” said Brandon Landry, co-founder and owner of Last In Concepts.  “Everyone appreciates the great deals we offer on Black Friday, and Cyber Monday shoppers like using the bonus cards as stocking stuffers or as a gift to themselves.  Whatever they choose to do with the cards is fine by us.  We just enjoy being a part of the shopping frenzy!”

Last In Concepts is arguably the most distinctive restaurant company in America.  Each of its five concepts is fresh, fun and original, from Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar — voted ESPN’s Best Sports Bar in North America — to the beer-infused pizza crust served up at Schlittz & Giggles.  Founded in 2003 by LSU basketball walk-ons Jack Warner and Brandon Landry, Last In Concepts has grown from its original location across from the LSU campus to 10 restaurants in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans.  The chain includes Happy’s Irish Pub – where “Happy’s girls make happy boys”; The Roux House, an energetic live music venue; and Walk-On’s Catering, a fifth concept driven by the popularity of its namesake’s unique Louisiana menu.  Additional growth lies ahead, as the company expands on its winning combination of delicious, affordable food and drinks presented in an uncommonly warm and friendly atmosphere.
