“Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Mentor, Ohio when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens the first of multiple locations in the greater East Cleveland area. Unlike other restaurants that may come into a neighborhood, Moe’s Southwest Grill believes in being an integral part of the community. Local franchise owners Ryan O’Hare, Paul Giggi, and Thomas O’Hare, all of whom are seasoned restaurateurs, have signed a multi-unit deal with Moe’s Southwest Grill and have announced its first store will open in Mentor in November. The restaurant, currently under construction, is located at 9710 Mentor Avenue Mentor, Ohio 44060.
“I have a special affinity for this region that is home to me. Our group doesn’t just open restaurants….we want to be involved in every aspect of life in the communities we operate within. This includes giving back to our local schools, charities and other organizations that help our community and its residents with everyday life. We are very excited to open our first Moe’s Southwest Grill in Mentor, which is the first in this region and we look forward to becoming the community eatery of choice for residents, kids, families, and professionals throughout the area. However, it doesn’t end there … through all of our restaurants, we will be helping out a lot of great schools and organizations that are helping those in need. It’s important to us to do our part to ensure we are not just located in this region, but to also demonstrate that we are committed to those that are actively involved within our community. We invite any local schools, charities, and other organizations in need to contact us regarding how we can help you through our Moe’s restaurants,“ commented Ryan O’Hare, local partner in the area franchise ownership group for Moe’s Southwest Grill.
To celebrate the new restaurant, Moe’s Southwest Grill of Mentor will host two pre-opening events the day before the official opening date in November. Friends and families of the group in Mentor will be invited to enjoy a lunch or dinner session so they can become familiar with the menu and experience what makes Moe’s different first hand. The following day, Moe’s will hold its grand opening celebration where it will donate a portion of the proceeds to a local organization in need. The group is currently in the process of researching local organizations, schools and charities to select a beneficiary for the grand opening festivities in November.
“The pre-opening events are our way of welcoming ourselves to the community and showing residents what makes Moe’s culture and cuisine different than other restaurants. As long time restaurateurs, we believe in giving back to the communities in which we operate. We look forward to benefitting a local organization in our pre-opening event and are anxious to give back within Mentor and the surrounding region for many years to come,” commented Paul Giggi.
