Florida-based RUM RUNNERS USA (founded 1995) has increased by 1 unit, from 4 to 5 (25% growth).  This family/casual concept serves American cuisine, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $10-$30, with full bar and seating for about 200.  Catering and banquet services are available.  Trading areas are FL, IN, MI, and NC.

NATION’S GIANT HAMBURGERS of El Cerrito, CA has increased by 1 unit, from 25 to 26 (4% growth).  These are mostly take-out restaurants with seating for around 20.  Meal periods are breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $3-$8.  All locations are in CA.

New Jersey-based IT’S GREEK TO ME (founded 1986) has increased by 1 unit, from 9 to 10 (11% growth).  The restaurants are family/casual, open for lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $6-$15+.  Units seat about 30 and offer catering and delivery services.  All locations are in NJ.  Franchising is available.

Franklin, TN-based PLANET SMOOTHIE (founded 1995) has increased by 4 units, from 99 to 103 (4% growth) and entered into NV.  This quick serve juice/smoothie concept is open for lunch and dinner hours, with a $2-$6 per person price range.  Units have limited seating.  Stores are franchised and trade in AL, AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, HI, MA, NC, NV, NY, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, and VA.

SAN DIEGO RESTAURANT MGMT CO based in San Diego, CA (founded 1980) has increased by 1 unit from 3 to 4 (33% growth) adding a new concept called Seaport Village. Other company concepts are Edgewater Grill (1), Harbor House (1) and Pier Café (1).  These tend to be upscale restaurants with full bar and seating for around 300.  Meal periods are breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $15-$50+.  Catering and banquet services are available.  All locations are in CA.

PIZZA BOLI’S based in Pikesville, MD (founded 1984) has increased by 6 units, from 62 to 68 (10% growth).  These are take-out and delivery pizza restaurants with limited seating.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $2-$8.  Locations are more than 90% franchised and are in DC, MD, PA and VA.

Fort Worth, TX-based BOBBY COX COMPANIES INC (founded 1961) has increased by 5 units for Rosa’s Café, from 31 to 36 (16% concept growth), 1 unit for Taco Villa, from 16 to 17 (6% concept growth) and by 1 unit for Texas Burger, from 5 to 6 (20% concept growth).  Overall company increase was from 52 to 59 (13% growth).  These fast casual concepts are open for lunch and dinner, with a $3-$8 per person price range.  The concepts serve Mexican cuisine and burgers.  Beer and wine are served and catering is available.  Trading areas are CA, NM, and TX.

BIG APPLE PIZZA & PASTA based in Port St Lucie, FL (founded 1980) has increased by 1 unit, from 12 to 13 (8% growth).  These are family/casual restaurants with seating for around 50.  Beer and wine are served.  Meal periods are lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is around $6-$15+.  Catering and banquet services are offered.  All locations are in FL.

Atlanta, GA-based YOGLI MOGLI (founded 2009) has increased by 7 units, from 19 to 26 (37% growth) and entered into KY, PA, and TN.  This quick serve frozen yogurt concept is open for lunch and dinner hours, with a $2-$6 per person price range.  Seating is for about 40 and catering is offered.  Stores are franchised and trade in GA, IL, KY, PA, and TN.

Athens, GA-based YOUR PIE (founded 2008) has increased by 6 units, from 12 to 18 (50% growth) and entered into TN.  The restaurants are fast casual, serving pizza.  Seating is for about 60, serving beer and wine.  Per person check average is $6-$15+.  Catering and delivery are available.  Units are franchised and trade in FL, GA, SC, and TN.

Sumner, WA-based THE ROCK WOOD FIRED PIZZA & SPIRITS (founded 1995) has increased by 4 units, from 14 to 18 (29% growth).  This is a family/casual Italian & pizza concept, open or lunch and dinner.  Per person check average is $6-$15+, with full bar service.  Seating is for around 250.  Between 30% and 40% of the restaurants are franchised.  Trading areas are AB, CO, OR, and WA.
