Subway is beginning 2026 with a focus on nutrition and affordability, introducing a new series of “Protein Pockets” and a revitalized daily value menu. Starting Jan. 8, these offerings are designed to help guests reach their protein goals and manage their budgets without sacrificing the fresh flavors the brand is known for.
Introducing $3.99 Protein Pockets
The centerpiece of the new launch is the Protein Pocket, a grab-and-go solution featuring a toasty wheat-flavored tortilla packed with over 20g of protein and fresh vegetables. At a price point of $3.99, Subway aims to provide a high-protein alternative to traditionally expensive or fried options.
The debut lineup includes four varieties:

Baja Chicken: Grilled chicken, Monterey cheddar, smoky Baja Chipotle, lettuce, Roma tomatoes, and jalapeños.

Peppercorn Ranch Chicken: Grilled chicken, Monterey cheddar, zesty Peppercorn Ranch, lettuce, Roma tomatoes, and pickles.

Italian Trio: Black Forest ham, pepperoni, Genoa salami, Monterey cheddar, lettuce, Roma tomatoes, and mayo.

The Return of the Sub of the Day
Subway is also upgrading its value menu with a rotating Sub of the Day schedule. Guests can purchase a featured six-inch sub for $4.99, with the option to add a drink and a side (chips or cookies) for an additional $2.
