Supporting CAVA’s Rapid Growth
Wasserstrom partnered with CAVA back in 2022. Cut to 2024 and the restaurant chain was in full growth mode, with plans to open 60–80 stores per year, culminating in a goal of 1,000 locations by 2032. To prepare, the team at CAVA was busy aligning their processes and consolidating their vendors to streamline operations.
Opening 60–80 restaurant locations a year is incredibly challenging and comes with significant hurdles.
The team at Wasserstrom immediately jumped in to provide quick and responsive service to ensure CAVA could make a smooth transition from other suppliers.
Building a Partnership Through Communication & Collaboration
To account for these challenges, Wasserstrom stepped up communication, meeting with CAVA’s teams on a daily basis to discuss projects and openings. Congruently, our Demand Planning Team worked to get inventory levels up to par and forecast for the upcoming year’s opening packages, growth projections, and expected replenishment order rates.
Thanks to our seasoned in-house experts, The Wasserstrom Company is now CAVA’s primary smallwares provider. We provided 65 opening packages in 2024, aiding in CAVA’s growth and providing support for smooth transitions.
