You know the legend: Via 313 started with a single, humble food trailer in Austin, bringing the glorious, cheesy, thick-crusted majesty of Detroit-style pizza to the masses. Well, what goes around comes around! Now that the brand has grown into a nationally acclaimed powerhouse with 25 restaurants, they are officially getting back to their roots – on a much bigger, more mobile stage.
Via 313 is introducing a brand new mobile food truck that will serve a limited menu of their signature square pies at all the best spots: events, breweries, bars, and private gatherings all across Texas!
First Stop: Beer and Free Slices
You can catch the very first pit stop of the new Via 313 Food Truck on November 8th at the 512 Brewing Company’s 17th Anniversary Party. Could there be a more perfect pairing than ice-cold craft beer and a piping-hot slab of Detroit-style pizza? We think not!
The party starts with free entry, new beer releases, and live music throughout the day, with pizza service kicking off at 2 p.m.
And here’s the most important detail: The first 15 fans in line will score a free slice of their incredible Cheese or Detroiter pizza! That’s worth showing up early for.
Follow the Clues, Win the Pizza
If you miss the debut, don’t worry – the hunt is part of the fun! For all subsequent food truck events across Texas, Via 313 will be dropping cryptic clues on its Instagram account. You’ll need to follow along closely if you want to be the first in line for future free slice giveaways.
Plus, you can enter the epic “Cheese Pull Challenge” by stretching your slice, measuring that epic pull, and posting it on social media for a chance to win the holy grail: free pizza for a year!
“Our original trailer was where it all started, but it stayed in one spot. Now, we finally get to take our pizza on the road – connecting with new communities, joining local events and celebrating how far Via 313 has come,” said co-founder Brandon Hunt.
