Torchy’s Tacos recently announced it will be opening a location later this year in Georgetown. Torchy’s is known for its creative taco creations, queso and margaritas. A timeline for construction on the new restaurant has not been set, but the restaurant is anticipated to open in fall 2023.

Chicago, IL – StopAlong at Boiler Room
The StopAlong, a retro Wicker Park pizzeria that celebrates all things childhood-related, is getting ready to open a new location called StopAlong at Boiler Room in Chicago. StopAlong at Boiler Room will feature vintage toys, bright decor, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mural outside. The owner confirms that he hopes to open in May 2023.

Doylestown, PA – P.J. Whelihan’s
P.J. Whelihan’s, a local favorite for comfort food and pub grub since 1983, is gearing up to open a new location this spring, marking the brand’s twenty-ninth location – 22 of which are P.J.s as well as seven specialty restaurants – throughout the South Jersey and Pennsylvania regions, and its first in Doylestown, specifically.

Kansas City, MO – Barbacoa
A local Mexican barbecue restaurant is making it way in Kansas City. Barbacoa will infuse traditional Mexican recipes with American barbecue techniques, relying on open wood fire and slow smoking for its dishes. Barbacoa plans an April opening.

Miami, FL – Fresh Kitchen (FK)
Fresh Kitchen (FK), the popular build-your-own-bowl quick-service concept, will open its 13th Florida location in bustling Midtown Miami, one of the hottest and fastest-growing neighborhoods in the city. The restaurant is set to open its doors for the first time in Miami on February 21st for both lunch and dinner, as well as online ordering/take-out and group catering. Known for their cheeky and artist-inspired designs, the newest location in the “305” will reveal the brand’s most up-to-date look and feel for the community to enjoy.

Fort Collins, CO – Dave’s Hot Chicken
A third serving of spicy chicken is coming to Larimer County in late summer/early fall. A new franchisees will open their next Dave’s Hot Chicken in midtown Fort Collins.
