Mangiamele will recount iconic brand’s renaissance in major Dublin speech Oct. 1st

The epic comeback of America’s largest and most recognizable Irish-themed brand has generated headlines on four continents.  On Tuesday, October 1st, hundreds of international Irish pub owners and managers will gather in Dublin to hear from the man that led the renaissance.

Bennigan’s CEO Paul Mangiamele will deliver the keynote address at the 2013 Irish Pubs Global Gathering, scheduled for September 29th through October 1st at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.  It is the largest annual meeting of Irish pub owners and managers in the world.

Drawing from his recently published book, “Bennigan’s Return to Relevance…Bleeding Green 25/8,” Mangiamele will center his remarks on the challenges of bringing a Chapter 7 brand back from the brink.  In particular, he will emphasize the “Pillars” and “Initiatives” that must be stringently followed to effect change and ensure success.

In addition, Mangiamele will discuss how the Bennigan’s brand can now be adapted to the Irish pub concept through the licensing of multiple signature items.  This addresses a long-standing request from prospective master franchisees that want to bring Bennigan’s to Ireland while maintaining the traditional nuances of authentic local pubs.
