On The Border Opens First Nebraska Restaurant in Papillion

The Tex-Mex casual dining brand grows to 25 franchise locations worldwide.

On The Border Opens First Nebraska Restaurant in PapillionOn The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina, the world’s largest Mexican casual dining brand, today announces the opening of its first restaurant in Nebraska with well-established franchise owners Amy and Bryant Morrison. The 6,800 square-foot restaurant is located at 8810 S. 71st Plaza in Papillion and will serve guests for dine-in, pick up, delivery, and catering. Its hours will be Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. with happy hour specials Monday-Friday 4 p.m.-7p.m. at the bar and patio.

The Morrisons signed a franchise agreement with On The Border to open three Nebraska locations over the next few years, with the Papillion restaurant as the first. The Morrisons have a successful On The Border location in Rapid City, S.D. and bring more than 20 years of restaurant experience, ranging from fast food to full-service restaurants.
