Rodizio Grill to Celebrate Sixteen Years of Premier Dining Service

In June of 1996 Rodizio Grill opened its doors and Coloradans were among the first to experience Rodizio Grill’s authentic Brazilian cuisine. This year marks the sixteenth birthday of that grand occasion, and Rodizio Grill is getting ready to celebrate this throughout its stores across the Mountain West.

“This is a great accomplishment for us,” stated Ivan Utrera, Founder and President of Rodizio Grill. “In the last sixteen years, Rodizio Grill has become a favorite dining destination, and we are very proud to be bringing the public the flavors of Brazil to their own backyards.”

Rodizio Grill began its Sixteenth Birthday celebration by opening their eighth location in Columbus, Ohio on June 15, 2012. With locations in the Mountain West and Eastern states, and with several units under development, guests will be able to find a Rodizio Grill within reach.

Rodizio Grill is a Brazilian style steakhouse, or churrascaria, that first became popular in the southern parts of Brazil. The concept quickly made its way to other areas of Brazil, including São Paulo, Brazil where Founder Ivan Utrera originates from. Each table is presented with a wooden cue, which upon turning it to green, allows the guest to enjoy unlimited fire-grilled meats perfectly seasoned and carved tableside by Brazilian Gauchos.

Rodizio Grill’s menu originates from cherished family recipes from Utrera’s hometown and features unlimited appetizers, over 30 gourmet salads and a wide variety of homemade desserts that make for an unforgettable dining experience.
